Birds in the morning on Serangan Island
This photo was taken from a car, driving to Bali after a great sunrise photoshoot, on June 1, 2015. Serangan Island, a small island in the south of Bali, connected to Bali with a land bridge, is a bird sanctuary. If you look carefully, you will also notice some other fauna besides birds, namely, some buffalo on the left.

As my last photo post here for the year, I am sharing this sunrise shot from Serangan Island, Bali. It was a daunting task to choose this one, as I have many more that I like just as much. Have a healthy, happy, and beautiful New Year, everybody!
Retrospectives of 2015 and WordPress.com discoveries
“Reader” is the name of an RSS service offered by WordPress.com. It lets you sign up to follow sites and it offers recommendations. It was via the recommendations that I just stumbled on a 2015 editors’ selection post, which then brought me to the Discover Photography site on WordPress.com. Having discovered this site thus, I felt I should share it here. It looks like a good collection of WordPress sites focused on photography; I intend to explore it more, even though I already follow hundreds of great photographers on Google+ and Facebook.
