I am still working on the massive end-of-year update on my joint blog with my wife. This involves revisiting photos we took over the year, and since we had a fabulous trip to California, Hawaii, and Bali, some of these photos are ready and re-edited before the big post is finished, so I’ve been sharing them here. Here is one of my photos from a sunrise shoot in Serangan Island, at the southern tip of Bali, Indonesia, at the end of May.

I am preparing a retrospective of 2015 for our family blog. In doing so, I am looking back at hundreds of photos and this one cried out for a little HDR treatment. Enjoy it here before hte retrospective is finished (this will take several more hours or even days).

OK, I may have overdone it with the HDR treatment here. But I kind of like the “ghost” Marianne on the left!
